Reece has been working with coffee for 15 years now and his knowledge and passion for the craft and community around the humble coffee bean is second to none. Reece learnt the art of roasting at Sydney’s Reuben Hills, which led him to Oaxaca for the first time in 2015 where he judged the prestigious Cup of Excellence awards, taking his appreciation to a whole other level. Through this trip and others to follow, Reece wanted to understand how he could support coffee farmers, and this has been the focus since the beginning of Beam Coffee in 2020. Based in Byron Bay, Beam Coffee works with the best coffee producers in the world, sourcing truly transparent beans that are roasted to accentuate their best attributes. In working with Beam to create Harvest Coffee Co, we have found a truly transparent coffee partner who matches our passion for sustainability, transparency in sourcing and relationships with growers, artisans and local communities.
